RESUME

Summary

IMG_3671.jpg

I am a hardworking, intuitive, dedicated, compassionate asset with an eagerness to learn and improve. My passion for casting is directly related to the significance of what it contributes to representation in media. This keeps me invested in how casting impacts the projects we work on through who we help bring into the room and who we advocate for and aiding in the growth of upcoming and especially BIPOC casting professionals.

I've been fortunate enough to work with some incredible institutions and professionals, and I look forward to using the insight I've gained and make changes in the entertainment landscape as a black female casting professional.

Longwood Scholar
BA Theatre, Communication Studies minor

2013 - 2016

In my three years at Longwood, I primarily worked and learned as a performer and technician with Longwood Theatre, which led to me become a brother of Alpha Psi Omega, the theatre honors fraternity. I also had a brief stint with the student-run newspaper, "The Rotunda," where I published a few articles. Additionally, through the highly sought after position as a Peer Mentor with the Office of First Year Experience and Family Programs, I became more secure in my skills as a student leader at Longwood. Despite my heavy involvement, I am a diligent student, securing a position on the Dean's List for three semesters.
